While we’ve already covered a lot of questions and answers concerning braces and Invisalign, we’ll go into a little more detail when it comes to questions new patients may have about our offices.
The Details
Q: How do I schedule my next appointment?
A: Simply call our practice! One of our patient coordinators will be happy to help schedule your next appointment at your convenience. If you’re a new patient or you’ve been referred to our practice, please let us know and we’ll give you all of the information you need.
Q: What happens after the initial consultation?
A: If you decide the time is right for orthodontic treatment, we can start the very same day following your consultation. This way you don’t need to make another appointment. Dr. Ibrahim will place or measure you for your new orthodontic appliance. This appointment is usually no longer than an hour and then you’re on your way to your new smile!
Q: How often will I need to come in for appointments?
A: Most patients visit us every six to eight weeks, though your appointments could be more or less frequent depending on your needs. Regular checkups last 20 to 40 minutes. We work really hard to schedule your appointments to fit your busy schedule, so that you can spend less time in the orthodontist’s chair and more time doing the things you love to do.
Q: Can I drop my child off for their appointment?
A: Of course! It’s completely fine to drop your child off for their appointment and pick them up afterwards. You’re also welcome to stay if you have questions and concerns and we’ll be more than happy to address them and update you on your child’s progress.
Q: Does your office speak other languages besides English?
A: Yes! We’re a multilingual office and we can communicate with you in your native language to ensure you’re informed about your treatment and feel comfortable during your visits. Currently, we speak English, Spanish, Polish, Arabic, Mandarin and Tagalog.
Q: Do you accept insurance or offer payment plans?
A: We’re a preferred provider with numerous insurances and we file with all PPO insurances. We have in-office monthly payment plans and we offer a discount for payment in full. We also accept CareCredit financing plans. See our Insurance & Finances page for more details.
